Crawford Receives Gartner's BPM Excellence Award for North America 2014

ATLANTA (December 11, 2014) - Crawford & Company today announced that Gartner, Inc., has named it as one of only three winners of the Gartner Business Process Management (BPM) Excellence Awards in North America for 2014. Through this awards program, Gartner spotlights excellence among organizations that take a BPM-centric approach to improving their business performance and have seen exceptional results from doing so.

Kevin Frawley, Crawford executive vice president and chief executive officer, Property & Casualty - Americas, accepted the award for Crawford on December 10, 2014, at the Gartner BPM Summit in Las Vegas.

"This is a prestigious honor from Gartner and we appreciate their recognition of our systems and technology," said Frawley. "All of our work has been dedicated to helping improve claims processes for our clients, and this award highlights the success of our efforts."

Crawford & Company uses a common business process management system-based (iBPMS) platform to accelerate operational decision-making and the translation of those decisions into rapid action - yet still enforce corporate policies and procedures required for insurance business process outsourcing for clients. The system also provides accelerated implementation and changes. Results from 30+ proprietary technology projects include enabling mobile claims adjusters, coordinating repair suppliers to fix damaged properties faster, 70% faster invoicing, orchestrating responses better through a new data and operations command center and supporting new revenue producing business units. This consistently innovative approach across a variety of projects shows BPM excellence and resulted in the award from Gartner.

Also at the Summit, on December 11, Frawley will describe the Company's award-winning BPM expertise in case study presentations and answer questions about its experience with its technology. Crawford U.S. Property & Casualty Vice President and CIO Ken Tolson will participate in a Mastermind Conversation session at the Summit on December 12.
